🎉🎉Taking the leap into 2018 with ease and excitement🎉🎉

Updated: Jan 16, 2018

December 31st, 2017

2018 is happening in less than 24 hours, are you ready? What are your goals for the new year? Resolutions? Do people still do these? To be honest with you all I was ready for 2018 a long time ago. I need this New Year as much as we all need water to survive. It was a year of turbulence, of uncertainty, of confusion, of fog, my goodness the list can go on and on. It was also the year that some pretty remarkable things happened. I turned my Postparum journey into a story, into inspiration and motivation not only for myself but for those around me. I created a small community of women that generally enjoy my content and believe in me and my vision around mental health. So we can go on and on about the negative events that happened this past year and how much we just can’t WAIT for 2018, BUT we shouldn’t dismiss the GOOD that occurred this past year either.

All the hardships, bumps and rollercoasters that led you to this point in your life were meant to happen. It’s hard to believe this when tragic events and “accidents” that led to heartache have occurred and I can’t explain why they might have happened but what I can suggest is to Put all your faith and trust in a higher power. We don’t have the answers as to WHY. We may never know. But. Life is beautiful. It is. Continue to live and create memories that force you to smile and laugh. Don’t go through life trying to find the answers. No. Just live. Don’t just go through the motions. No. LIVE in each moment within each present day.

We are in control of our destiny. Yes. You and I. You. YOU are in charge. Do you enjoy all aspects of your life? Yes? No? What don’t you enjoy? Well then take that leap and FIX IT. Don’t ask for permission. Just do it. What is stopping you? Peoples opinions and viewpoints of you? WHO CARES. Be content and secure with your place in this Universe and do YOU. Noone else matters. Let go of the comparing and analyzing if you’re good enough. You are amazing. Start believing it and showing the world just how incredible you are.

I really think that in order for you to achieve greatness you gotta hit rock bottom a few times. Fail. Fall DOWN. Yes. It is scary and who enjoys to go through hardship? Noone. But it teaches you a million and one things about yourself. When you’ve fallen a few times or feel as though the darkness in that tunnel seems never-ending the sun rises and the good comes in, I promise you you will walk through life with a fresh set of new eyes and the confidence you’ll have within you, will make you unstoppable.

As I mentioned earlier in this post, I am grateful for all my hardship and bumps in the road. They made me stronger and who I am today. 2017 was pretty incredible. But I just know 2018 is going to rock and I will have my time to shine! So get excited, get REALLY excited. You have a blank slate in front of you with a million possibilities but also remember what brought you to this point in time. ✌❤
