Why I began going LIVE on my Social Media Platforms

I began blogging years ago (before child, before marriage I think?). It started as an outlet for my passion of cooking. I loved sharing my recipes with the world. I was so proud of myself and my accomplishments I was making in the kitchen. I only started cooking at 26 years old (YA! I know). Anyways it was outlet. Now, I have continued to blog and now I blog about many other things. Still same purpose, using it as an outlet but now it's a bit different. It's about engagement and content. It's all about those two very important elements. I wanted to create a community of individuals that genuinely care about my passion. WHAT IS MY PASSION? I'm passionate about maternal mental health. I am passionate about sharing my truth and voice with the world. What better way to do this and showcase this than to go LIVE!
So, I began hosting weekly Lives. Some weeks I have people host with me and some weeks I'm solo. We talk about issues and topics that are tough to get through and we shed light on maternal mental health. I made the decision to host weekly lives to deepen our solidarity as a community. We gather online once a week and we chat, we cry, we laugh and we support each other virtually.
It brings a whole new level of "community". I am humbled at the feedback I've received thus far as well as the support from complete strangers. One thing is for sure. There aren't anymore strangers, no, there is a village of people that truly care about each other. I am grateful beyond measure for my gift of speech. I am an open book. Some people have a hard time talking about such deep-rooted issues as myself and that is OK. I feel that because I am comfortable and confident I can and SHOULD share this with the world. I am the voice of the silent ones crying on the inside. I was there once before. It's dark and lonely. We need to end this stigma and speak the secret. Join me on my weekly lives and contribute anytime.
I love hearing from you. Do not hesitate to reach out via my contact page or through my various social media platforms. I thank each and every one of you for joining me on my journey without you our community wouldn't be made possible.
Sending you all peace, love and light.
